Adult In-Car Driver Education Back to Homepage The instructional program at the Driver Education School of Virginia in both Tappahannock and Montross is designed primarily to fill the needs of high school students who must complete the state requirements of classroom and behind-the-wheel instruction. The State of Virginia has different requirements for those under 19 years of age. Our program is designed and approved for fulfilling these requirements. During the summer, Mr. Chatham sometimes is able to schedule individualized instruction for those 19 and older. Because of shorter periods of evening daylight, usually this program is not available during fall, winter and spring.
